Gawith Hoggarth is a product line of English snuffs made in a factory employing the same equipment and techniques when it was first founded in the early 1700's. For this alone, the snuff is worth trying as it is quite dry, but a medium coarse grind with visible pieces of differing appearance. Its aromas, even for the relatively unflavored SP are floral and soapy. Due to its dryness, it can burn a bit, but is not a challenge to take, and delivers a lasting floral, soapy aroma with some citrus notes in the background. It tends to give a moderate, longer lasting hit that can be augmented by taking larger quantities which is easy to do because you don't have to take it very hard. Quality control is poor as the ink does fade quickly and the sticker peels easily from the box. Some boxes even have broken seals from new, and this is not Tom's fault. Overall it's an OK offering for the different experience it can deliver, and can even work as an all day snuff, but I won't be buying any mor

A very nice S.P.. I detected subtle notes of citrus which made this pretty enjoyable. This snuff can be used throughout the day and will surely be enjoyed by fans of other S.P.'s.
