I decided to reevaluate my relationship with American Snuff starting with Three Thistles. After the first hit, I felt like waving the flag, shooting guns and driving V-8 Ford. Now THIS is America!

One of the best scotches around. Phenomenal flavor, power and quality. Don't let the "Thistles" scare you this is a very kind snuff with a good bite. Excellent.

This is an awesome snuff. Nicotine is right up there with Rooster. Light subtle smokiness that doesn't linger all day and the nic hit is excellent! Thoroughly enjoy this snuff.

Historically American scotch snuffs fall into one of three categories - strong, sweet and plain. This one is definitely a strong one as the full name suggests (Three Thistles Strong Scotch Snuff). It's very fine and dry as one would expect and fairly light in color. The smokiness is somewhat less than is to be found in some other scotch snuffs but this is more than made up for by the high nicotine level and the pure tobacco flavor. First rate snuff!

And strong it is. In flavor and nicotine. Smokey with a hint of hickory and leather. Light color, fine grind and very satisfying, it's a worthy addition to your snuff drawer. This one has more in common with Levi Garrett Scotch and Rappee than say, Rooster.
