This one takes a lot of getting used to. This is the finest grind I've ever tried and after half a tin I still find myself "over sniffing." Rooster lives up to it's reputation in every way: rich and powerful but definitely not the place to start with American snuff. Enjoy, but BEWARE!

This is a good solid Scotch snuff and has become an all day snuff, along with Standard, for me. When I first started using Scotch snuffs, I was put off by the smokey flavor but I've come to like the flavor quite a lot. Toasts are my favorite but American Scotch snuffs have become a strong second. I need to try a few more before I give any a five star rating. This is a definite must try.

I got a nice sampling of a few but this one blew my senses AWAY!! AMAZING! woody smoke scented and earthy, very amazing very not beginner friendly but worth the money.

I bought this not so much that I thought I would like it but because of the reviews. I expected it to have much more smokey BBQ flavor but I don't find it to be so. This is a very enjoyable Scotch snuff. The more I use Scotch snuffs, the more I enjoy them and consider the quality to be as good as the European snuffs; they have become my all day snuffs. I like HDT snuffs and am finding a lot of similarities with American Scotch snuffs. For me, Scotch snuffs are, by far, the best values available.

An obviously high quality snuff. It has a rich flavor and a powerful buzz. It's not for those inexperienced with snuff though as it's very strong. Once you can handle it though it's very enjoyable.

Very flavorful and very strong. I was a cigarette smoker for 8 years and recently made the switch to snuff. I feel so much better now that I am not inhaling smoke constantly. Rooster was such a highly regarded snuff that I had to try it. Buy some Rooster for your snuff shelf, you'll love it!
